Holding Course Reserves

Place a hold on course reserves:

Option 1:

  • Search for the title in the LAFS Library Catalog
  • Click the "Request Hold" button 
  • Fill in the "Hold Request Form"
  • An email/phone call will be sent to you stating that your item is ready for pick up
  • Item will be placed on hold for 24 hours. If item is not picked up within 24 hours, it will be released back on the shelves.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Option 2: 

  • Over the phone, please call the Library at 323.769.2705
  • Make a request to hold an item
  • A Library Staff member will place the item on hold for 24 hours. If item is not picked up within 24 hours, it will be released back on the shelves.

 

Option 3: 

  • By email, please email lafslibrary@lafilm.edu 
  • Make a request to hold an item (Please be specific into which item you need)
  • A Library Staff member will reply back and will let you know when it is ready for pick up
  • The item on hold for 24 hours. If item is not picked up within 24 hours, it will be released back on the shelves.
