Information and instructions for self-service printing and scanning in the library

Print Manager Access

  • All documents must be uploaded into print.lafilm.com database
  • All documents must be in .pdf format
  • On print.lafilm.com you must log-into lafilm.com not lafilm.edu

*All print jobs must be print-ready. The library team is not able to prepare or edit documents and images for printing. 

*Always use the Preview Document option to view your print output BEFORE printing. You will be charged for every page printed, and we are unable to process refunds.

 

Once you're in print.lafilm.com account look for the navigation bar at the top

1.) Select Balances

2.) Click on Paid and enter $ Amount (must be at least $1.00)

3.) Click Purchase Credit (Balance credit will be added to shopping cart)

4.) Click on your shopping cart

5.) Select payment method (Credit Card or Paypal)

6.) Enter required information

7.) Click Pay Now button

  • LAFS students can print directly from their laptop by going to the print.lafilm.com website

You don't need to log-into your print.lafilm.com account to scan. 

Place your document to be copied onto the print screen face down.

  1. Click the Home icon
  2. Tap the send button
  3. Tap the email button
  4. Enter your lafilm.edu email (only use lafilm.edu email for scanning)
  5. Press send 
  6. Check your .lafilm.edu email for scan copy 

In order to make copies, you will need to first scan your documents to your email.

Place your document to be copied onto the print screen face down.

  1. Click the Home icon
  2. Tap the send button
  3. Tap the email button
  4. Enter your lafilm.edu email (only use lafilm.edu email)
  5. Press send 
  6. Check your lafilm.edu email for the scanned copy on your mobile device or any available computer at the Library
  7. Follow the regular Printing Instructions found below.
